5th Annual Silver Spirit Invitational 2026

I was invited to the very first one of these many years ago, and i was lucky enough to get an invite from Anthony Grinquest. I think that I’ve been to all 5 so far as a guest photographer/videographer.

The Silver Spirit Invitational has become a fall tradition for marching bands across South Carolina and Georgia, bringing together talented students, dedicated directors, and supportive communities for a day of music, competition, and camaraderie. Hosted by the Silver Bluff High School Silver Spirit Band, the event showcases the hard work and commitment that thousands of students invest throughout the marching season.

The Invitational is a celebration of the marching arts. Powerful musical performances, precision drill, colorful visual presentations, and outstanding percussion and guard work, each band takes the field with a unique story to tell, and I’m here for it!
