Uniquely You
Uniquely You
Before our session, I would like to take a little time to get to know you personally. This will help me bring out the true you in your images. You are a unique individual and your photos should reflect your personality.
Help me capture the inner you by bringing things that are important to you during this stage in your life. Let me know if you’re involved in any activities that you would like to include: sports, instruments, dance, karate, books, pets, and friends are just a few ideas. Maybe it’s even the clothes you wear.
You are a unique individual and I’m going to help you show your true colors in every image
What to Wear
One of the most common questions I get is, “What should I wear?” here are some tips to help you pick outfits that show your personality and flatter your appearance.
1 Mix it Up
Choose a variety of outfits that represent your different styles. Be sure to include some casual everyday outfits and some dressy or even formal attire too.
2 Bring your spirit
Don’t forget about things like letter jackets, jerseys, or other meaningful uniforms.
3 Layer up
Layering your clothes lets us change up the look from shot to shot without doing a full wardrobe change. Remember to bring hats, jackets, sweaters, scarves, etc. While ladies may choose to wear some “strappy” outfits you may want to make sure you have at least one long sleeve look too.
4 Accessorize
Don’t forget accessories like class rings, earrings, necklaces, and other jewelry. One of the most commonly forgotten accessories is a change of shoes that will coordinate with your outfit changes.
5 Wear happy clothes
Wear clothes that make you look and feel happy. Choose colors that work with your skin, eye, and hair color. Make sure that your clothes fit comfortably and you love the way you look and feel in each outfit!

Hair&Makeup
Guys, I know this section doesn’t apply to you, right? Even if you’re not planning on wearing makeup or getting your hair styled, I still have a few tips for the guys here.
Don’t change your hair style right before your session. Trust me, you’ll regret it later.
Be sure to take care of all unwanted facial hair a few days before your session (don’t forget about the eyebrows!).
Avoid sunburns or uneven tanning the week of your session. You may also want to wash your face well and use a good moisturizer for a week before your session.
Ladies…Check out all the tips for guys, those can apply to you ladies too. Now for a few tips for the gals.
You may want to consider having your hair and make up professionally done, as well as possibly having your nails done in a neutral color prior to your session.
Come to your session with your hair and make up already done, but you may want to bring some concealer, powder, lip-gloss and bobby pins for touch ups.
