I’m shocked at how well these turned out! These students are a bunch of Live Wires for sure and kept me electrified during the session. We had a spark of creativity for the backgrounds, and I hope that you like them as much as we did. (I’m not truly shocked, since they’re so photogenic — I just couldn’t resist conducting one more pun.) It’s time to bring everything that you can, it’s 1A state Finals time. These bands performed so well that they had a chance to bring it again in the evening and compete to have the highest score in the state. This location still has the Arc style lamps for the field and that causes the weirdest red banding, and there’s nothing that can be done about it when I am shooting such a fast shutter speed. It was a pain when I shot at North Augusta when they had the same arc lamps. I tried to get as close to…

Here we go, the preliminaries at the end of the season for 1A and what a lovely day it was. The sun came up across the field and that means that we faced east, and everything was back-lit in the morning. That’s ok, the pictures still turned out really nice, even if the natural grass was on the yellow side.  It is November after all.
